Tamale Drive
To raise money for camp last year, we put on a tamale drive. Girls and mentors took orders for the two weeks ahead of time. Chicken or Beef @ $20 per dozen. Then for two days we work hard making the tamales. The best part is that the girls work hard together. Our girls not only earned their camp trip, but they also built relationships with each other and their mentors previous to getting to camp! AND we raised $1000!
