Using YouTube to Lead Songs in Club

I know club music can be such a challenge to many of us (we don't play the guitar, don't know anyone who does, we can't sing, none of our volunteers can, etc, etc, etc...) - using YouTube can change this, ladies! Go to youtube and search for the lyrics you are looking for. (Ex: search - Umbrella by Rihanna Lyrics) It will pull up a few options for this song - all of the lyrics are typed out for you and will move along as the song plays (with Rihanna singing). Then, you just have to download these to your computer. You can play them right off your computer at club - onto a screen and with speakers hooked up. Now, you have Rihanna singing her song (and turn it up loud!) and the lyrics typed out and moving along with the song. Make sure you still have someone "leading the song" from the front of club! They need to in front of the girls, facing them, modeling how to sing along (getting into it!). Also, make sure your mentors know how to sing...teach them! They need to sing load, get into it, move around, dance, clap, put their arms around girls, pull in girls in the back, whatever it takes to bring in energy and make girls feel part of the group.) We cannot let YouTube do all the work for us, but it sure can do a lot!!! This was very successful in our club in San Antonio and in many clubs that I have visited. Try it!!!!
